This blog is bare of what I claim the majority of my content to be: issues of food, weight, etc. It’s not because nothing has happened or I’m not up on current events. I’ve read some really great things, been through some not so great experiences that I could share, but I’m not ready. I’ve focused so much on the negative aspects that I really don’t want to keep going back to that. So I won’t talk about any of that until I have something positive to say. Which may or may not be sometime in the near future. Oh well. No one reads this drivel anyway.

I just noticed today, after disciplining the cat (can cats even be disciplined? lol) for the thousandth time on something he always seems to do while we’re away, that we all do the same thing. We being my boyfriend, our cat, and myself.

We all do “bad things” when we’re home alone. We all turn to our vices when we’re alone. Well, the cat is always there but you know what I mean. When no other human beings are present is what I mean by “alone”.

I’m learning to deal with his vices because, really, they’re not that bad and it’s mostly just my own hang-ups anyway.

And I’m working on mine. I’ve improved. But it’s quit, and quit again with me. I fall off the wagon on a pretty much weekly basis. Which is frustrating, but better than not trying at all.

As for the cat, I don’t know of any 12 step programs to get him away from my ponytail holders.

I just found that kind of adorable, is all.
